Our coaching is led by Nathan — a native English speaker and licensed California attorney — who brings deep legal experience and a global perspective to every session. He doesn’t just teach Legal English; he helps lawyers practice it in the real world: reviewing contracts, negotiating deals, writing clearly, and speaking with credibility.
Nathan began his legal career in Silicon Valley, guiding companies through complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations. He later served as in-house counsel for a San Francisco startup that raised over $50 million in equity funding. He’s worked with Fortune 500 companies on supply chain and procurement matters, and advised founders and entrepreneurs on business formation and operations.
After years in practice, Nathan took time to travel and explore language, culture, and personal growth. He’s studied yoga, French, Thai, Sanskrit, and music — and brings the same passion for language learning to the coaching he offers. Today, he helps lawyers from around the world improve their Legal and Business English so they can communicate more confidently and grow their international careers.
